Subway Sandwich Melted Chicken Cordon Bleu

Subway Sandwich Melts Chicken Cordon Bleu

Subway Sandwiches is advertising their Chicken Cordon Bleu again quite frequently on television. The reviews of this sandwich seem to be quite mixed. If you are a fan of Subway Sandwiches and what they do then you will probably love the chicken cordon bleu sandwich that Subway offers. On the other hand if you find that Subway Sandwiches is just a notch above all the other fast food restaurants you will probably find this not much to your liking.

Chicken Cordon bleu Subway Melt Sandwich

If you have had Chicken Cordon Bleu at a nice eatery then you need to change your expectations. Subway starts with your choice of bread I always recommend the whole wheat or wrap for health and dietary reasons. Then for the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich they add small cuts of chicken similar to what you would get with an order of boneless buffalo wings. They then add black forest ham to your Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich and give you your choice of cheese and veggies. I would recommend Swiss cheese and simple mayo for a traditional taste, but the best option for this sandwich maybe mozzarella with honey Dijon dressing. A traditional dish of Chicken Cordon Bleu is a Chicken filet stuffed with prosciutto and Swiss cheese baked covered in mayonnaise and it is not that similar to the sandwich. However other fast food chains like Wendys have attempted to make a Chicken Cordon Bleu and I would rate Subway’s much higher than any other fast food attempt. Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich

Subway Double Bacon Egg Cheese Sandwich

This is a quite delicious sandwich the combination of the crisp flavorful bacon with the egg and melted cheese makes this a great breakfast lunch or dinner meal. Personally I prefer the fresh baked whole wheat instead of the flat bread. You can increase the health value of the sandwich by having it with lettuce tomato cucumber and peppers, but avoid any oil or dressings.

Double Bacon Egg and Cheese at Subway

I am quite sure that Subways Jared Fogle did not lose all his weight eating footlong subs with bacon and cheese. This sandwich on flatbread is about 550 calories for a single serving which is not the footlong. If you order the double bacon egg and cheese with egg white you can drop nearly 100 calories to 430 per individual serving. However the calories are not the only thing to count. The fat from the bacon is very high and not part of a healthy weight loss diet. Currently Subway doesn’t offer a turkey bacon substitute or something with lower fat count. You can order a footlong sub with egg and turkey but it doesn’t qualify for the $5 footlong price. If you are really going to get the sandwich and want to take advantage of subways $5 footlong price, order the footlong eat 6 inches for lunch and save the rest for your next meal.

Subway Salads

Subway salads option
I like Subway, as far as fast food chains go (and yes, despite what they would like to think, they are a fast food chain). I used to love to get Subway sandwiches, and then I went vegetarian. So then I loved to order Subway veggie wraps, but then I started eating gluten free. Now I eat Subway salads (although, don’t let these sentences mislead you, I don’t eat out that often; usually only with my fiance’s family, because they love to eat out). As much as I love salad, it does get a little old when the Subway salads are the only option on the menu that you can eat.
Subway salads options
The other frustration for me is the options for toppings for the Subway salads; they aren’t horrible or anything, but pretty much your options are the same as the options for sandwiches. I don’t know about you, but I like my salads way different than my sandwiches (not that I eat a lot of those anymore, but still). I mean, I like that Subway salads have options like mushrooms, peppers, and olives (although their olives taste Sysco to me, if you know what I mean), but what about an almond, orange, craisin salad with spinach leaves and a nice delicate vinaigrette to top it off? That would be one of the Subway salads I would love to chow down on!
Subway salads dressings
Which brings me to another point. I don’t like their salad dressing choices. Not one bit. I do realize, of course, that the choice of dressing for Subway salads is based on two things; what Sysco carries and what the American people like (which probably are synced on the Sysco end of things anyway). I, however, find most of their dressings either fatty and full of dairy to a disgusting degree (Ranch, I see you over there), or sweet without any real depth of flavor (yes, Italian, you are not getting away that easily). Even the balsamic vinaigrette tastes more like watered down French dressing (read, overly sweet and mostly tasteless).
What now Subway salads
I doubt that Subway will change their options just for me (assuming I ever do get around to filing a complaint/suggestion). It would be nice, but for now I guess I’ll just survive with the Subway salads as is. I’ve been doing it for a while now anyway, right?

SUBWAY SANDWICH PICTURES MAKE ME HUNGRY What’s Your Favorite Subway Sandwich With the long list of Subway Sandwich combinations that are available it is sometimes difficult to process which one is my favorite of all time. I don’t remember the first Subway Sandwich that I had, but I am guessing that is was something very simple like a roast turkery breast Subway Sandwich or perhaps it was the Subway Sandwich Club. It was a new experience for me and I was a little overwhelmed by all the choices that were available to personalize my own Subway Sandwich. The list includes lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green pepper, olive, onion, jalepeno, several kinds of cheese and several kinds of dressings like oil and vinegar, ranch, etc… all of which contribute to making even a menu sandwich a very personal creation. Over time I have tried some of the special Subway Sandwich offerings and I think that my all time favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Subway Sandwich. The standby that I have ordered the most frequently is the seafood salad. What is your Favorite Subway Sandwich Bread I am not a big fan of bread in general I find that it takes a large part of my hunger shoving bread in my mouth and doesn’t satisfy my hunger, but Subway Sandwich has developed some really delicious bread offerings that go along way to enhancing any Subway Sandwich. I still think that any sandwich is about what’s in the bread, but lets face it a fresh baked whole wheat bread is quite tasty not to mention how delicious a Subway Sandwich is on jalepeno or roasted garlic bread. My wife who loves fresh baked goods still loves the meat and veggies in the sandwich and so she will frequnently order her Subway Sandwich in a wrap which is a great alternative depending on your hunger. Subway Sandwich Party Style If you are throwing a party there are several different options for providing Subway Sandwich for everyone. You can order the supersized Subway Sandwich that should feed at least 25 people but you have to choose the style of sandwich ahead. The other option is you can order the bread and fixings and let everyone create their own Subway Sandwich.
